Some say "you can't buy taste" or other cocky, smart-ass statements such as "money can buy you school, but can't buy you class", is that true? Let's face it, we live in a material world where money can buy a lot of (material) things and those things somehow contribute to how others see us as who we are or who we want ourselves to be. Economic wise, a "rational person" would only purchase the best value (cost/quality) product, says a pair of shoes. We however, are not rational. A teenage boy would be more likely to spend double or triple the amount of the "best value" shoes for a pair of Air Force 1 and a business man would spend about the same amount on a pair of Italian leather shoes. It all comes down to how we want our image to be isn't it?
Of course there are things that we can't really buy, for example our tastes in music, poetry, food, art. Such little things as the way you talk, the music on your playlist or the restaurant you walk into will create your image, your very personal "brand".
So what do you want your "brand" to be? I want mine to be one of a YOUNG gentleman and this blog would keep track of how i am achieving my brand. I said YOUNG because i am in my early 20s and obviously most of us at this age would be living on allowance or making little income. Thus, being a gentleman on a budget is quite difficult sometimes in this world where finer things are almost always come at higher prices.
In this blog you will find reviews on random stuff that i come across in my daily life or maybe just something the young gentleman would like to say on cars, gadgets, time pieces, fashion, sport, music, movies and some of my (lame) humor.
